Monsters University fraternity quiz

As any avid Pixar fan will tell you, each animated full-length always features some familiar cameos and Easter eggs, sometimes referred to as “Hidden Gems.” In case you missed them the first time you saw it in theaters, we’ll help you spot the newest gems that make appearances in Monsters University!

“A113, ” the beloved classroom number of John Lasseter, Brad Bird, Pete Docter, and Andrew Stanton while at CalArts, is the same number as the School of Scaring classroom at Monsters University.

In the scene where Mike is riding Archie the Scare Pig down Greek Row, the Pizza Planet truck can be seen in the driveway of the JOX fraternity house. BONUS FACT: The Pizza Planet Truck has made a cameo in almost every Pixar film since it first appeared in Toy Story.

In the scene where Claire Wheeler and Brock Pearson are introducing the first Scare Games challenge, the Pixar Luxo Ball is graffitied on the wall behind them. If you don’t know Luxo’s origin story, the Luxo Ball was featured in the first computer animated short released by Pixar Animation Studios back in 1986.
